Fernanda Capelini - Creative Director & Womenswear Designer

Born in Brazil to a Portuguese-Italian family and currently based in Sydney, I bring a rich, multicultural lens to every creative project I touch. Fashion has always been part of my essence — a natural form of expression that shaped my path as a designer and creative.
 
As a fashion designer, illustrator, and creative director, I’ve developed collections across womenswear, streetwear, and luxury fashion, working with renowned brands and collaborators. My approach is guided by a strong visual identity, technical knowledge, and storytelling — often beginning with hand-drawn sketches or original prints that evolve into full concepts, from fabric development to final styling.

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, I’ve worked across all stages of the design process: from trend research, conceptualisation, and illustration, to textile innovation, sample development, and campaign direction.

My multicultural background allows me to draw inspiration from diverse aesthetics and translate them into cohesive, contemporary narratives that resonate globally.
